Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) – New Zealand

The Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) allows skilled migrant workers to work in New Zealand for an Immigration New Zealand–accredited employer. This visa replaced most previous employer-assisted work visas and involves multiple steps for both the employer and the employee.

At Zymm Visa Solutions, we assist workers and employers in understanding the AEWV process and ensuring all requirements are met before an application is lodged through a Licensed Immigration Adviser (LIA).

🔹 How the AEWV Process Works

The AEWV process generally involves three key stages:

  1. Employer Accreditation

The employer must be accredited by Immigration New Zealand to hire migrant workers.

  2. Job Check

The role must meet pay, skill level, and labour market requirements.

  3. Migrant Worker Visa Application

Once the above steps are approved, the migrant worker can apply for their AEWV.

We guide you through each stage so nothing is missed.
